This 1-day pottery workshop focuses on agateware and marbled clay techniques, perfect for beginners and those with some handbuilding experience. Learn how to combine and colour clay to create beautiful flowing patterns, from soft marbling to bold layered designs, inspired by traditional Nerikomi techniques. Level 2- Weekend Intensive Cut & Paste: Composite Throwing Forms with Tim Fluck

Join visiting ceramic artist Tim Fluck at The Mud House in Brighton for a two-part weekend intensive workshop exploring composite throwing forms and cut-and-paste ceramic construction techniques. Taking place over two Sundays (19th & 26th July, 10am–4pm), this advanced pottery workshop focuses on throwing and assembling multiple thrown elements to create dynamic, sculptural ceramic forms. Suitable for those with wheel throwing experience, participants will learn how to manipulate and reassemble thrown parts to develop unique composite vessels. All materials and firing included. Greetings, I'm Chanakarn Semachai, also known as Punch. In this 2-day hands-on workshop, I'll guide you through crafting my signature sculptural lidded jar. Where pottery meets sculpture to infuse functional pieces with playfulness and joy. All levels are welcome.

(Level 2 Course) - Clara Holt Guest Artist - Explore Sgraffito Story Telling

Saturday and Sunday from 10:00–16:00, for a weekend dedicated to exploring the expressive technique of sgraffito. Participants will learn directly from me, gaining insight into my practice while applying the technique to their own work. They will be introduced to storytelling through sgraffito, exploring how to bring their own voice into their pieces. Over 12 hours, I guide participants through using sgraffito on both flat and curved forms, building confidence through demonstrations, structured exercises.
