Join us for our Glazing 101 workshop, designed for students who have experience throwing, trimming, and creating pots, and are looking to enhance their glazing skills! Whether you’re new to glazing or need a refresher, this workshop is perfect for you.
Workshop Description
In this hands-on session, we’ll cover essential topics including:
Health and Safety: Learn best practices for working safely with glazes and studio materials.
Glaze Application: Discover various techniques for applying glazes to achieve stunning finishes on your pottery.
Common Glaze Flaws: Identify and understand typical glaze issues and how to troubleshoot them.
Refining Pieces for Firing: Get your work ready for firing using our selection of Mud House studio glazes.
Please come prepared with your bisque-fired items. If you don’t have any ready pieces, don’t worry—we’ll have some available for you to experiment with.
