(Level 0) Endometriosis Awareness Month: Community Workshop

book here

Join studio tutor and technician Chelle (she/they) for a relaxed, welcoming hand-building pottery workshop. This inclusive session is open to people of all genders living with endometriosis, PCOS, or other diverse reproductive health conditions. No diagnosis is required.

Rooted in Chelle’s personal experience of suspected endometriosis and over 10 years working with clay, this workshop offers a calm, supportive space to slow down, feel seen, and connect with others through making. Clay is used as a grounding, tactile medium - no prior experience needed.

What to expect

The first half of the session invites participants to get hands on with clay. You’ll have the option to anonymously write down thoughts or feelings, which Chelle will then incorporate into a collaborative coil-built vessel made together as a group. This shared piece will hold everyone’s contributions, offering an opportunity to release, reflect, and build a relationship with the clay.

If you’d prefer, you’re welcome to work independently and hand build your own piece during this time.

In the second half, once you’re familiar with the clay, you’ll be guided to hand build something of your own at your own pace. There will be optional moments to check in with our bodies with gentle stretches and light movement throughout the session.

The workshop is held in a calm, caring environment that centres rest, community, and choice. Everyone is encouraged to work in ways that feel meaningful to them, with no pressure to share or participate beyond their comfort.

This is a pay-what-you-feel session, with a suggested donation of £10 to cover the cost of firing. Payment will be taken at the end of the session via the studio card machine. Every contribution helps keep the workshop sustainable and accessible.
